 Therapeutic Effects of Music on Mind 

Research on effects of music on organisms revealed that music does certainly exert positive and desirable effect on one's mind, body and soul too. Listening to music regularly has been found to be very effective in rapid growth of crops and plants whic proves that nature in itself can feel and enjoy the rhythm of music. People suffering from various psychological, emotional, and even physical ailments when exposed to pleasing music show miraculous results in various treatments. 

Listening to good and pleasing music everyday for 30 minutes to 90 minutes has been found to sooth emotional wounds, forget problems of life at least to some extent , facilitates in relaxing mind, imporves thinking and perception, and modifies and improves mood which eventually helps in charging one's mind and return to life with a new enthusiasm. Gazals, guitars, violin, paino, flute, and so many other forms of music are widely popular among people of all age groups since it not only rejuvenates the mind and soul but delivers a lasting inner peace, health emotional state, and a new charge to life.                    

 

The positive and desirable effects of music can vary from person to person depending on various inner and outer factors. It has been found through research that pleasing, melodious, and soothing music not only improves sleep, memory, perception towards life and optimism but also has a lasting beneficial effect on relationships whether personal, social or professional.
