Interview
Question
1) what wisdom would you like to impart based on your educational career?
As
an educator I have gained ample knowledge and experience during the course of
my professional career. I strongly believe wisdom comes only through experience
and therefore amateur learners or disciples must always keep their minds open to
learn new things, gather creative ideas, and experience vivid dimensions of
life to obtain enlightenment.
Question
2) what do you love/hate about your profession?
I
have never hated my profession since it always allows me to gain knowledge and
experiences about varied dimensions of life. One important thing I love most
about my profession is the sense of accomplishment that I derive through the
knowledge and motivation I impart to students.
Question
3) what is different about the teaching profession today than when you began
teaching?
Teaching
today is greatly affected by commercialization as schools and colleges seem to
be operating solely for commercial gains and recognition rather than imparting
quality knowledge and enriching students’ lives. When I began teaching as a
career we as teachers were committed to deliver high quality education to our
pupil to make them better human beings and not mere citizens.
Question
4) Write about this teacher in this Blog and share some of the profession's
collective wisdom?
The
teacher whose responses are provided in this paper is an accomplished teacher
with over 2 decades of teaching experience. She acquired rich experience
teaching diverse subjects to students of higher secondary school. Her students
have attained significant success in their respective careers working as
doctors, engineers, and professors.
